I do...they were ranked number one in each of the last two years and my high school football team couldve made a better showing

Ah, wait a minute. Yes, VA did win 9 games last year, but one of the losses was to Wyoming. Five of their wins were by 5 or fewer points. Tommy-T has a point. Besides, the ACC isn't looking all that good this year; the Big East isn't looking any better. This could be the year the Big Televen gains back some of the respect lost from last year.

God love ya, Lennie! But with WVU's defense, I didn't see them going to the NC this year. Strangely, they have a better chance next year, when the defense is a little older and wiser, a couple of able RB back-ups have really come along, and a little known, seldom discussed QB named Jarrett Brown takes over for his Sr. year. For now, let's just get the next win.

I think you're being a tad harsh. Agreed, their play was disappointing, given the opponent. Still, champions find a way to play through adversity and win. OSU did that. Now, if they lose at USC, remember, 1) It's AT USC; 2) It's USC they're playing. If OSU loses, and are dropped to #20, well...OK consider this. What if WVU beats CO? As a result, they could conceivably be ranked 20 or higher. Do you think WVU is better than OSU right now? Relax; win or lose, your boyz will be fine, as will mine, in time that is.

Me neither, TC. Personnally, I think somebody's being kind to my Mountaineers. It's still early yet, however. They could get their act together and work their way back up. Guess we'll see soon enough.

VA Tech was somewhat over-rated. I can agree, however & sadly, that WVU was grossly over-rated. Given the obvious disappointment they're feeling as well, I'll be very curious to see how they respond at CO.

By the way, how was S FL overrated last season. Were they even ranked about this time?
