These two bloggers stated that I was on this "long list" of non-responses because I "diss"respected the dude's alma mater/team Clemson. What did I say that was so disrespectful? If I said something to disrespect you or your football team of choice then I apoligize. I have nothing but respect for OU because they don't normally go around acting self absorbed think they are the best in the country.

Well, just like Saban's "shrinking the game" comments get on your nerves, all of the above things about Miles do the same for me. I'm not saying he's not a good guy, but he sure is annoying on the field and behind the cameras.

That sounds like it would be an interesting story. You'll have to share it sometime. Yeah, I'm from right across the bay from Mobile. I have friends that go to USA.

A large part of our fanbase grew to dislike JPW because of the games he cost us last year. (One may seem familiar in your mind, as a fumble of his led to the difference in winners of last year's LSU-Bama game). Anyways, the majority of us have agreed that if he plays well, everything else goes well - obviously that goes for any team and their quarterback. It's just the fact that he's either on his game, or he's completely off, making mistake after mistake. He definitely showed what he's capable of this past Saturday.

Yes, the game in Red Stick should be a good one. I hope we are both undefeated going into that showdown. I'll be ready for that one!

I thought in 2004 he had learned up pretty good, Then he got that 45 to 16 beaten in Athens and high tailed it to the "Not For Long" League. We've given him worse beatings than he gave us Saturday. He's a good coach but he's not the only good one in this conference. Last five years LSU's won the SEC twice, Fl's won the SEC once, and we've won twice. The difference is Fl and LSU had the opportunity to play for the National Championship. We didn't get that opportunity.

Blackdawg, I woke up this morning and thought the same thing. It was truly a pleasure watching Alabama's defense practice against us in the 2nd half. I just hope we get another chance to run our "Scout O" against them in the championship game.

And it's not fear that you smell. It's reality bro. I gave you facts from the game. I understand that Beckwith was out, Alexander had an ankle issue (I think that's the injury), we had a reshirt frosh starting, we got an uncharacteristic fumble, and blah, blah, blah.

You have a low tolerance for folks not as gung ho as you? I have a low tolerance for people who keep making excuses for mistakes that should not happen.

I'm definitely a "glass is half-full" kinda guy. But I refuse to paint a picture to convince myself that when so and so gets back, and we fix these mistakes, and the chemistry and developement of our staff (which I agree with, btw).....everything will be 'aight. That's just misleading. That's what you HOPE happens. FWIW, I hope the same thing.

And I totally agree...we have lots of opportunity to get better. The staff and Miles can handle it. They've handled it before. They'll do it again. But the point of my original post was and still is:

IF WE PLAY THE REST OF OUR CONFERENCE GAMES THE WAY WE PLAYED STATE, WE'LL LOSE.

And you tell me you can't agree with that? If we give up 3 turnovers and 110 yrds rushing to Bama, we still win? Is that what your'e saying?

Here's hoping I'm proven wrong. God knows I want to be. I'd love nothing more than to run the table....nothing more. But adjustments and or corrections need to be made from last weeks game. THAT'S MY POINT. It has nothing to do with being negative, or not gung-ho. Hell, if you'de see my house, truck, party room, wardrobe, KIDS WARDROBE...lol, then you'de see gung-ho. From the huge flag on the front of the house to the 8ft inflatable Mike IV (lighted too, I might add) that goes out on gameday, no-one has it worse than me.

Just so you know: Jeff Sagarin still has USC ranked # 1 in "the predictor" - about four points better than Oklahoma. Meanwhile, the LVSC, has Southern Cal at # 2 - only 0.7 points behind Oklahoma. These are the only opinions that really matter. Some talking eggplants at ESPN were put there only for people just like you. The rest of us are stuck with having to study the game.

Seems as if some guy let his dog crap on my lawn - so I had to put him in the hospital. The cops somehow thought that I was in the wrong. Can you believe that? Anyway, the court seems to think that I might have some issues. I don't remember that my dad ever abused me. I was always able to kick his butt.

Fact is: all Boise State gets in recruiting is the PAC 10 leftovers. Recruiting is the thing - Bronco fan. Year in and year out - the PAC 10 always gets all of the best players on the left coast. The WAC gets all of the table scraps. That's the way it has been forever and will continue on so - forever. If you don't understand that - then you cannot be reeducated. Your a lost cause.

When was I talking trash I simply said USC is over rated and some people on ESPN agree so it's not like I'm making stuff up, but again whatever I have a life and football isn't it. So by all means enjoy your football team and the high light of your life which is them going to another rose bowl because they AUTOMATICALLY get in because the beat lesser teams on a steady basis....wwwwhhhooooo hoooooooooo go Trojans.

Miles, cocky? I have NEVER heard him called that...LOL...

I can tell you this...The accent is a little on the interesting side...ARR-Kansas last year was a little humorous...

What's really hilarious is seeing a straight-laced, no-nonsense guy like him loosen up slowly but surely over his time in Baton Rouge...We're such a laissez-faire place in most respects, and then we are JUST LIKE HIM when it comes to football, LOL...

But, you've seen him kibbitzing on the sidelines with Sean Payton, and courtside at Hornet's playoff games...His family is just awesome...I really think you need to search for the 225 Magazine (Local Baton-Rouge area magazine) article that they wrote on him and his family...Got shots of the guy in folding chairs at the tee ball and coache's pitch games here during the summer, and he does remotes from outside of his daughter's hoops games as well...

He is really and truly the antithesis of Saban from that respect, in that you would NEVER see a Bo Pelini on the sidelines of his daughter's soccer game in Baton Rouge on a Saturday morning before dismantling Virginia Tech Saturday Night...

As I've mentioned before, go ask La Tech's Derek Dooley and his family what they thought of Saban's "work requirements" and how he allowed family in to see the coaches for ONE day a week for a "family lunch" where the assistants had to work while the wives brought dinner into them...

We just have found the perfect fit with the guy...

Now, his hat? I used to think it was silly, but now its a trademark...I get such a kick out of it, and I think he started wearing it like that on PURPOSE once people started mentioning it...

Your talkin' trash when your own dayum team can't seem to beat Oregon State, either, on a consistent basis. I know you've won two. So your 2-2 against Oregon State. So, that tells me, that the PAC's 5th best team would probably rival BS (fitting abbreviation BTW) for the WAC conference championship each year. I know that Oregon State has also completely hammered Fresno State in the past few years, also. I pointed out your 2-9 record against all PAC 10 teams. What is it that you don't understand? Boise State would probably be about 3-6 in the PAC 10 conference every year. Where have you earned the right to talk smack? That's my question to you. Show me your credentials.

How is it cheating unless your whole team is 40 feet in the air like the cameras you see the game through. You can tell the difference between players and the field at ground level, and when they played Fresno State in 2006 at Bronco Stadium the Broncos wore white pants and still beat Fresno so I guess your theory goes out the window, and if all you can really find bad about my team is the blue field then I guess I'm doing ok. You can keep this up if you want but talking to you is like talking to a child. I have a life I don't need to sit around playing with myself thinking about football stats and how good my Trojans look in their uniforms. Get a life it's just football.

Did your mom and dad abuse you as a kid or were you that kid whose dad tried to live a better life through his kid, because like I said in many return comments stats don't mean crap they are useless information. With the 85 scholarship rule everything is starting to funnel down and all these big schools are gonna start getting beat more and more to the point were there is no upsets anymore, and by the way what the hell does any time between 1964 and 2007 have to do with how any team is playing now.

Fact is: your team cannot beat a Pac 10 team - yet you make the ridiculous assumption that you are BCS bound. Why should you be BCS bound? Because you might get lucky and beat Fresno State on the blue carpet?

On the subject of the blue carpet: it is without question the most unfair advantage in all of college football. It is the most blatant form of cheating that there ever could be. Your silly little team has to wear almost all blue uniforms - so that they blend into this field like they were invisible of something. It makes it almost impossible for the QB on the opposing team to see the defenders. Can you imagine having to play Fresno on an all red carpet? Maybe if you guyz had changed your pants to white - it wouldn't appear so much to be an outright attempt at cheating the other teams. Personally, I think that the blue carpet should be outlawed. And, I think that the Oregon Ducks should not be able to wear all green while they are playing at Autzen either - or anywhere else for that matter. It creates an unfair advantage for the DB's in any game.

I wasn't talking trash if I was I would tell you to go play with your Barbie dolls isn't that what USC fans like you do or do you like the Ken doll instead., and why would I ask you to bring out stats, stats are pointless you think a stat is gonna tell you if your team will win or lose. If that was the case USC should have been underdogs because it's not the first time Oregon State beat them in their house, and by the way If you read the whole comment (which I'm assuming you can read) said BSU is not at the level of OU or USC year in and year out . The only big difference is when my team looses I don't make excuses like the linebackers couldn't find the running back or what ever BS fans come up with. USC lost because they played like crap plain and simple.

Are you guys at all concerned about 2009? You lose a lot on the OL, and you have Star Jackson, AJ Macarron, who was allegedly just told that if he guaranteed Saban he wouldn't sign pro in the MLB amateur draft, they wouldn't recruit anymore QB's...

That was after AJ made Saban promise he'd be a 4 year starter at QB...

You may not believe this-heck, it doesn't even sound like Saban to me, either-but, does it bother you that as you're stockpiling all this talent, a sub-par Star (Who a lot of folks are saying is not cutting the mustard) and an 18 year old are going to be at the helm next year?

I never compared the PAC-10 and the WAC that would be insane, but USC dominates the PAC-10 for the most part and when I said better teams I meant SEC teams. For a team to lose to an unranked team and remain in the top 10 is a total joke. Those stats you spit out mean nothing because all those teams that won all those games for USC aren't there anymore so really all that matters is how every team does year to year.
