Sorry guys, still just really busy. My classes this year all give me homework regularly, and English has me writing essays for homework every day, which I have to spend about two hours on to get a decent grade. Right now we have a speech for English: What is an American? We have to make a comparison, so I'm using Colt McCoy. I was kind of surprised that I could do that since he is an American, but it made my writing assignment so much easier. Yeah we got both of those games, but I didn't get a chance to watch the Arkansas one.

SELIHARRIS What you fail to realize is that I watched yalls performance yesterday at home vs Miss, yall scored exactlly zero points in the second half. If Bama played in the B-12 they would not be undefeated. The offense yesterday was totally flat, you gotta put points on the board to win games.You need to understand that Texas played an SEC team this year score was 52-10, learn that football does exist outside of the SEC- there are 107 Div1-A teams that do not belong to the SEC
Tenn got destroyed out west and Ark got killed in Austin, I'd like to see more B-12 vs SEC games in the future, maybe the Tide can make it to the Cotton Bowl and face a B-12 team, that would be good, then you can talk noise.
The Horns have future dates with Ole Miss, UCLA and Ark
I hadnt looked at Bama's future schedule but lately UL Monroe,Tulane, tell Saban to schedule OU again that was a good one

What a joke mccoy is, what would his completion % be if he played in the SEC. Bama would play man coverage and bring the house. We have the players in the seconday to do it...no team in the small 12 can come close. Another year where the SEC fan has to listen to alot of noise untill the last game.. then we had out the beating and everyone in the SEC gets a large check. Its our christmas bonus for having the biggest, loudest, and by far the best of everything. WE ARE JUST BETTER THAN YOU. and you hate it. I understand. So when Bama beats Tenn in Knoxville, Lsu at home, then the auburn tigers. Penn State win over a slow beaten Ohio State will be enouge for the number 2 ranking. Ben, watch more college football. Try the sec. notice the d-line. Every one else is trying to catch the product the sec has. Dont hate on Bama. When we win the Sec west we will get a shot at the sec crown. To me thats more important than what some sports writer thinks.

I wonder if Jim Mora would back out of the Seahawks job to take the Washington job. I remember him in getting in trouble in Atlanta for making that statement. That's a lot of money to give up, but if he likes Seattle that much he's more likely to have a longer career in college.

I get the "country roads" theme from John Denver pop into my melon. I try and stay away from the dueling banjos thing, as everytime that melody blasts thru my brain, somebody close by ends up "squeelin' like a pig". LOL! I'm trying to rehabilitate.

Oh, I remember that LSU did travel to Arizona State. There is simply more money to be had in the South. That's about it. I don't consider that LSU is one of them teams that tries to duck competition. There is a fine line now with that BCS system. You have to schedule just enough OOC strength - in order to pull it off at the end. LSU has taken on Virginia Tech last year, Fresno State and some others. They have tried to keep that upwards.

Kiffen could end up at Washington. Wouldn't be a bad gig for him. He might even come in 2nd. So, it wouldn't really surprise me if he pulls the trigger on that one. Yep, it'll take awhile though. But, they do have some pretty good players up there. The state of Washington does produce some really good 5-star players. Just not enough of them. If he could keep them all in state, while grabbing up some of the table scraps in Los Angeles, he could rebuild that program. I know that he'd be better off at Clemson - but I think that he'll probably land in Washington for awhile.

I guess I worded that wrong....Instead of "to think people say that we don't like to travel", it should have said...to think people say that we don't travel. At any rate, I would say that no one "likes" to travel but I heard it mentioned by someone a while back that LSU doesn't travel, plays all of their games in Louisiana, blah, blah, blah. It was just a rebuttal to that, albeit an innocent one.

And I honestly didn't give any thought to White or Devine being there, though I should've. That definitely changes the landscape of things, unless they have someone waiting in the wings who can step up. The same scenario bit us on the azz a few years back with Arizona St. As far as Washington, I know, I know...they're not exactly mowing down the competition. Looks like Ty is probably gonna be looking for new gig soon so they'll be rebuilding (or maybe building, period). If Kiffin lands that job...and I don't know why he'd want to...he'll get 'em turned around, but not in one year. I heard his name mentioned with Washington and 'Cuse so who knows where he's going. Personally, I'd love to see him at Clemson just so I could watch them play. I get a few of their games a year and I always enjoy watching the maturation of a program under a new coach.

Concerning vacation spots and West Virginia, nah..don't see that happening but I get the jist of where you were heading with that. For some odd reason, the dueling banjo song comes to mind everytime I hear the word Virginia. However, I do visit Myrtle Beach once a year to play in a golf tournament. It's always a blast. The golf is top notch and we party hard at a few places in the pm. Shucker's and Marty's immediately come to mind.

Well, if you just want to "go on vacation", those are some pretty good spots. The fishing is pretty good up there on the Columbia River. The scenery is beautiful also. But, if you were lookin' for a football game, I doubt if your gonna find one in the state of Washington. I'm kinda with WEA on the West Virginia thing also. Pat White is gonna be gone for sure. LSU will pound that team back into the stoneage. So, I hope that there is something else better to do in West Virginia. I hear that those "hillbilly women" are alot of fun, but while watching a Marshall game, I couldn't help but notice how dayum ugly they all really were. Obviously, you boyz are gonna have to be real careful, not to make their fathers and brothers too upset while your all up there. Watch out for birdshot...

Speaking of OOC, it looks like LSU and WVU are setting up a home and home series for 2010 and 2011 with the first being in Red Stick. That's great news for both programs. To think people say that we don't like to travel.

Washington next year then West Virginia following that.

What? I'm dead serious. We just don't get enough of that out here. LMAO! This stuff is just comical. I am warming up to the idea that we probably are overrated though, I mean, everybody says so.

I can clearly see how the team with the best overall record over the last 6 1/2 season, with the best record against all OOC opposition, and having beat all those teams by the largest scoring margin - is clearly overrated. Add in that they have won the most BCS Bowl games (by the largest margins of victory), and beaten the most Top 25 teams over that time span, and it becomes crystal clear. It's practically a slam dunk. Heck, they only have one "Crystal Ball". That's proof enough! I'm sold.

Again--the comment was in reference to the BOWLS--not the Texas game--because this thread is about the BCS--not the AP rankings; in fact, YOUR POST, to which I replied--was about OU finishing in the NC.

As for comments re. the Ol Miss game--I'd happily welcome them, but I'm pretty sure that the reason no OSU or OU fan has made any comments, is because they knew they'd be eating them.

Frankly I don't know or care what you do with my comments, but judging from how worked up you're getting over them, I ain't buying the "shit can" bit. We may have been emasculated but that neutered dawg put 30 points on Bama in the second half (30-10). Never the less, we are 5-1 and still have some big games left. Plenty of opportunity ahead. I'm not worried about the polls, just the OL. The veterinarians in Athens are putting a lot of busted knees back together.
