But whatever you guys do, take Vandy and the points...
What I find to be especially interesting is this. WVU ranks 15th in all-time wins, and the GDC has never been at any of their games. YET, here they are coming to Vandy. Like I said earlier, good for them!!! ...and I feel faaaaaaaaahn!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Look for Auburn to be portrayed as a rather tall Phillistine with a big 'G' on his helmet...

CGD does have a historical bias for teams in the state of Florida--UF, FSU, UCG. Would you rather be in Tallahassee in November for Gators-Seminoles, or freezing your ass off in Columbus for OSU-Michigan?
As far as the love for Sec its pretty simple. MONEY. The ratings in the south for college football are way way greater then they ever will be out west. Even if the football isnt any better.
I grew up out west and college football takes a back seat out west to most Pro teams.
But people in the south are fanatics and not just one or two teams. Imagine almost every team in your conference with a fan base like Oklahoma, Texas or Nebraska.
Outside of Boulder Co. youll hardly find a buffaloes cap. Same with Kansas even Missou.
ESPN is going to Nashville because for the first time ever they have a team to get excited about. I happen to believe that will end saturday but maybe not.
Your right, there may be some better games this weekend but this ones in Nashville. And the city itself is a draw.
For the die-hard fans like us and regular espn viewers it really wouldn't make too much difference. I'm glad to see the gameday crew go to other locations like Vanderbilt. Have they ever gone to a BYU vs Utah? I'm guessing probably so, if not perhaps this year.
Geaux Tigers
Geaux SEC
Whatever...
OU Fan if Texas just happens to get by Colorado and Oklahoma just happens to get by Baylor it will be a Top 5 showdown in Dallas BUT don't be surprised if they go to Da' Swamp for Louisiana State and Florida!
