Fanblogs Open Conference Championship Thread
Cash money, homie...
Cash money...
Yeah, there's a surprise for ya.
oh and about the columbus thing. here's the deal:
OSU's stadium wasn't filled up.
Alabama's stadium was filled up at 92,371
plus about a few thousand on the ground level, plus several thousand more fans waiting outside.
so! in my mind, Alabama still holds the record.
but as far as calling it a national championship, i think that's a bit absurd.
You can still wear your T-shirt, BC!
I could have used a little linklove above, but I can live with it...
Spring Football
National Champs
102%
Hate to disappoint you but i watched your spring game and no way was the stadium full.
But i do love your design of this shirt
BC was referring to the 2007 Spring game...when Alabama set the record and made spring games popular. This shirt is referring to then, too.
Well my bad.
Didnt OSU beat that this year?
Not that i care one way or the other. To get 80 plus thousand to a spring game is pretty amazing anyway you slice it.
And im pretty sure Bama had at least that many this year.
I think BC was trying to say that percentage wise, Alabama still held the record since it was at capacity+. But it's not really a competition in my book.
Over 80,000 for a spring game?
Some call it crazy, but I call it offseason medicine.
They drew more fans for a spring game-got to givem credit for that. Thats fan support right there-wow
Hookem-Horns
Sic-em Bears
Go Owls
Go Frogs
Hotty Toddy
they're in the process of adding approx. 10,000 seats to the south endzone section.

BC is did you change your handle- is this Bleed Crimson
(thank God it's Kevin posting this thread) instead of TE...
or me...
somebody might have pulled the HOMER card!
I mean, anyone who mentions on an internet profile for a college football blog site that he's, "...a really cool guy," sort've automatically contradicts the statement in the process of actually typing it out, don't they?
Anyway, I'll let Little Orphan BC Annie, Punjab, & Pappy Warbucks off the hook for now, but someone should tell him that profile info's like giving a pyromaniac a lighter and the keys to an 18 wheeler full of propane, in the right hands...
Yes. Proclaiming yourself "cool" is kind of like declaring yourself a leader - if you have to say it, it just ain't true.
I'll give BC some slack, though. He's too young to know this.
You guys are killin' me!
is that what you were implying?
what a creep! ha
oh yeah, a friend of your's wanted someone to pass along a message to you...
" profile info's like giving a pyromaniac a lighter and the keys to an 18 wheeler full of propane, in the right hands..."
i think im gonna change it. that way people won't have to go to my profile to see what the hell it is.
oh and thanks for passing that message along!
i'll shore up the info, so a certain pyromaniac won't be able to stalk me.
Maybe you, or someone else can explain to me what it will do for me.
Congrats on another title TC. I'm guessing this one goes in the room with the Recruiting National Championships not the room with the crystal football : )
Ya the Horns are #1 in a lot of different categories and I'm glad you recognize that.
The best analogy I can give you is a CB radio. There's a lot of talk going on - some of it's crap. But if you can find a way to fine tune down to what interests you... GOLD.
PS - Yall can follow me all you like.... @fanblogs & @kevindonahue. Send me a tweet just so I know it's you and not some other Ramblin Gator. HEH.
There can be only one! :-)
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably sign up next week.
Seriously...What kind of fan base does something like this?
Oh, that's right...this is a thread about Alabama Fans...
My metaphor machine & similie stun-gun are back at the Manufacturer for Warranty work...
Needless to say, your retread OL & that Greenhorn QB are going to ruin Julia & Her Mortals soph season and have them all end up slumping...
But, I don't have much in the offseason in the way of biting sarcasm...I have to recharge my bat'trees SOMETIME...
I also enjoyed m'self for Cinco De Mayo yesterday a tad too much...
LSU is always at the top of the food chain...
Alabama is always on the bottom...
But that's in TE's world. The real world is quite different, my friend. ;)
There's one burnt orange shirt that has a RV in the shape of Oklahoma- others that say O -Who ? and I own one that has Bevo sexually abusing Reveillee{ A&M's mascot} I like the ones I saw that said saw them off back to back- A&M's obsession with Texas is beyond weird- which is okay
afterall its just a t-shirt
Just like the as-lame "Got Recruits?" t-shirts last year...
The only good thing that comes out of this is a good long laugh when you see the red necks wearing them at a game... or at the store... or at the drive in movie... or at Bama_Babe's family reunion... or at Six Flags... or at the Stuckey's off of I-20 in Talladega... or at the yard sale along Hwy 31 in Clanton...
Maybe The Observer can get the shirt and his better half can get the Tebow Thong... make 'em take some pics, and we'll see which one looks better in action...
"Yeah it iz; she shaved her beard off..."
Home of the Pecan Log Roll...
But point well made. These shirts are ridiculous. I doubt many actually sell. Only people buying these have less than 32 teeth.
32 is the total counting wisdom teeth.
So I guess I should rephrase my comment...
Only people buying these are missing more than just their wisdom teeth...
But one was knocked out in a basketball game, so actually it's 23...
But I have a bridge, so no one but my dentist knows...
(insert: still more than the average Auburn fan remark here)
:-)
I was thinking of buying one.
Give BC a break. He did a fine job on his artwork and he even spelled champs right.
