I know where you're coming from, but I don't see how the ACC should have to prove anything, especially after last year. Now, I'm not about to proclaim the ACC as being near the top of the heap, but I've never seen a conference so balanced from top to bottom. Not to mention, 10 outta 12 members went bowling. Has any other conference done that? In my opinion, the ACC has nothing to be ashamed of.

Central Michigan was definitely not going to be our opponent this season. Their own announced schedule didn't have us on it. The original thought was that Idaho would be the replacement as not many teams are available at this late stage. The fact that Texas Christian is available is amazing, first of all. Secondly, if we can lock in this game it will help our SOS tremendously, and provide a very exciting rare match up with a powerful program that we never get to face. It'd be a tough one, but I'm all for it.

tcu - clemson, that would add to all the marquee matchups going on in the acc, with alabama, nebraska, florida, pittsburgh, south carolina, usc, california, vanderbilt, and oklahoma, the acc has another year of proving its place in the bcs
