JMO, but English, Haywood, & Gill are not going to be in the MAC very long...at all.
Also...If Walker is okay with making $197K/year as the HC at New Mexico, then more power to him. He isn't going to have the tools to succeed.
He could come to LSU and earn about $400K, and after 12-24 months, be in line for a far more substantial job opening...
It's all a matter of how patient-and how logical-he's going to be.

It also depends on your logic. If he wants a peaceful place that will be tolerant of 5 win seasons New Mexico is his place. A place where he can build a program if he works at it hard enough. If he wants more money and perhaps a better position for future considerations at other programs than the SEC may be an awesome opprotunity but it would seem that that has a 50% liklihood of total catastrophe career wise. Another season like this one at LSU (if other SEC programs are any indicator) and the assistants are out. Les couldn't take two more seasons like this one. 90% of FBS would either be ok or ecstatic with LSU's season even a couple SEC teams. But I get the feeling (and this is my opinion only) that LSU is not in that catagory.
