Fanblogs Open Conference Championship Thread
I don't know what anybody else thinks, but Texas A&M's chances for a national championship are still very real...
Regardless, it was a crappy weekend.
Maybe he's got the bends or something, it's affecting his brain.
Statistically possible...
Fan enthusiasm is what makes the sport great...
I just think crazy fans are a huge plus in this sport. :)
I cannot wait to see just "how good Arky State actually is."
We even get these stupid threads about "I hope we play Southern Cal in the national championship game, so we can show the who the REAL USC is..."
Ridiculous.
And maybe Arky St is that good.....lol.
Geaux Tigers
Geaux SEC
Poor Aggies- sorry guys we have H/S freshman that can hit those consistantly.
They might beat New Mexico and maybe Miami, but they will lose to Texas Tech, Texas and Baylor- OU will be a tossup
I can remember UT losing back to back against the Aggies , three in a row- not gonna happen. Watch this Ron and see what happens
Texas A&M will beat Oklahoma
BTW I also picked Cinn Bearcats, Texas Tech Red Raiders & TCU Frogs to whip OU
LOL Right now C-USA looks like the BCS busters to me
ECU #1 all the way
worst officiating in the nation-no doubt
The Wash St vs Baylor game looks good, the game is at Waco, so do they have neutral refs? hope so
OU will probably slaughter the Huskies despite the obvious disadvantage that the Sooners have against the mighty Huskies- home field, Pac-10 refs and superior coaching staff-Tyrone & Co
Oklahoma the best Texas team north of the Red
I mean TCU beat New Mexico but they lost to Texas A&M who lost to Arkansas State.
It is much harder to say that TCU should be competitive.
A common misconception is that it's the sauce that makes "BBQ"...
It is in fact the method of cooking...
At least for me. The sweeter ones do, now that I'm older...
Commercially available sauces that stand out:
1) Dreamland BBQ sauce--those guys near Tuscaloosa know how to do it--best served heated--not room temperature. Luckily, there are now Dreamland restaurant franchises in Atlanta. I drive 15 miles to the one closest to me...
2) Maurice's Carolina Gold--a mustard based sauce. I only like it on chicken, but it is good! Getting hard to find since old Maurice decided to stamp a Confederate flag on the bottom of every label.
3) Stubbs--some guy out of Texas. Not too sweet and not too spicy. Decided to try it a few years ago since it was still being sold in a bottle. I still like my beer AND BBQ sauce in bottles, please! (but not mixed together)
Now I think I'll go have BBQ for lunch...
What am I missing?
