Yes they do, Ben. It's called The Fulmer Cup at EDSBS. This was a three point arrest in their ranking system. Still, I'm not sure that UF is on pace to win The Fulmer Cup this year unless Gators start firing guns, selling drugs, or stealing credit cards from deceased coeds.
I need a T-shirt that reads "don't taze me bro!" for my next rock concert.

I think they should award an extra point in the Fulmer Cup if they taze a guy.
Also, should they change the name of the Fulmer Cup, or would that be like changing the name of the Cy Young?

I like the name, Fulmer Cup, though perhaps Coker Cup would be more appropriate. :-)
I hadn't read about this till now. I wasn't there; so, I couldn't have seen what happened. Based on what little I know, it sounds a lot like what happened with Noel Devine a few months back: wrong place, wrong time.
There are two things I can't stand with regards to high profile collegiate athletes.
1) Those athletes, because of their natural & superior talents, think the world owes them a livening, and
2) Those athletes who are decent kids, actually give a damn about their personal education, appreciate the opportunity afforded them, and wind up somebody else's target.
This guy sounds like #2. He tried to do the right thing, and some a$$hole just couldn't let it go.
If you're bad, you make headlines. If you're good, sometimes you too make headlines, in spite of your good intentions.
