I don't think they are that over rated.
(Go UTES!)

I mean honestly there are 30000 people enrolled at LSU, are you telling me none of them can cover a WR??? My high school team could at least make it look like we are trying to keep up..it is ridiculous
And Jarrett Lee does everything short of put up a sign sayin "I am throwing this pass to Brandon LaDrop uhhhhh Lafell"
at New Mexico State
Utah State
at Idaho
at Nevada
Fresno State
Nevada is probably the best of these. No one on their schedule is ranked, and probably none of them will be. Oregon has an outside shot, but that's all. Let's hope that they don't make it into the BCS with that slate.
Edit: Oregon is now ranked. Let's see if they stay there.
BOOMER!
- Texas
- Texas Tech
- Penn State
- Alabama
- Ball State
- Utah
- Tulsa (as of now)
- Boise State
One-Loss Teams:
- Florida State
- Oklahoma
- Oklahoma State
- Minnesota
- Southern Cal
- Georgia
- Florida
- Texas Christian
- Brigham Young
One of these teams will win the National Championship. Or I will be positively livid.
BOOMER!
They are out tonight, the Tulsa game will not be reflected until next weeks poll.
Yes, I know that the only team Alabama has beaten that is currently ranked is Georgia. But while Ohio State doesn't have a win against a strong team, Georgia is currently playing their best ball, and can become an even stronger asset to Bama's SOS with a win over Florida this weekend.
Bottom line, if Bama happens to win out, PSU should not - and will not - jump them.
This could all change Nov 8th in Baton Rouge (now LSU has nothing to lose) but the game is at 230 so Bama might score 80 on the poor tigers
Nah..Bama won't score 50. Partly due to the fact that our clock-eating rush attack shortens the game, and partly due to the fact that you better believe ol' Miles won't let another team put up that many against LSU.
I'm looking forward to the game though, as I will be on hand to witness whatever the outcome may be. Hopefully I'll be celebrating an SEC West Title when the clock hits triple zero. ;)
I don't mind 9-3...I don't mind 'Bama back in the thick of it...
What I mind is how we're losing to top flight competition...
Completely getting owned...
And another day game coming? That sux. Why the hell do they agree to play these damn day games? Our record during the day is no where near as good as it is at night.
Is it for the publicity of being on the national stage? That's all well and good if your team doesn't get 50 hung on them. Otherwise, it's negative publicity. Is it the money? What gives?

Well, you've lost your defensive coordinator. You've lost a senior QB - while trying to replace him with a RS freshmen. That is a real problem. The good news is that he will mature faster. You've lost the most dominate defensive lineman in the game (Glen Dorsey), a great RB in Hester, and a fantastic WR in Earley Doucet. And, I can't think of the rest.
But, losing the DC and Ryan Perrilloux, just looks like too much to overcome right now. Those are two real tough loses.
But in all honesty, i dont think Nick Saban could coach the Patriots to a victory in Baton ROuge, but he may prove me wrong
