I made a bet with a USC friend that USC won't be playing in the Rose Bowl next season (either for the actual Rose Bowl game or the national championship). That said however, I'm still not as convinced as you seem to be that they have major problems. They'll start a fresh QB, but whoever the QB is it'll be a 5-star HS All-American recruit type QB. Same goes with the other positions they have to address. Basically, just looking at their insane recruiting, they're still closer to an NFL team than any other college team right now.

I hope you're right though,...would love nothing more than for my Bears to kick their azzes in Berkeley this October!

I have to agree, I keep my fingers crossed against the team we are suppose toblow out, especially when they hang around until the second half.

I'd say we'll find out about em both. It'll be especially interesting, given USC has one BIG question (QB) to answer & OSU has a lot more lesser questions to answer.

obviously IA st. has never been a GREAT program. i was just under the impression that they usually had a .500 winning percentage before Chizik.

Its Okay Ron cause the North Texas Mean Green with head coach former longhorn QB Todd Dodge are coming into Tuscaloosa and they are going to be kickin-a and taking names.
Saban will leave to the pros and BC will wish he had Chizik as HC

Turns out it was a clean break of his chin bone. Doctors were able to set it on the field. He had sugery and put a pin in it.
He may be back late summer

Okay I'm convinced that Chizik ran it down after 2 bowl wins in the last 110 years.
BC ought to be shaking in his boots now, because Ia St is gonna rebound back to a championship team. Maybe the Cyclones will win the MNC now that Chizik is gone.
