It would take him alot longer than 2 to 3 years. Trust me...... and do not think for one second that your boosters or alum are going to want him to be the coach.

Leach is my choice. It won't take him 2/3 years to implement his offense and be effective... at least it didn't take that long at UK, OU or TTU and he is starting out with some decent skill position guys if he can settle on a QB.

Thanks, WEA, I am trying to keep up on this...it's going to be bizarre not seeing Fulmer on Tennessee's sidelines. You don't get more Tennessee than that guy.

These type of changes should only occur at the end of the season, its not fair to the players and disrepectful to the coach and the team.

Lol. . .yeah, well it was the Bowden connection that landed him back with "da family" at Clemson. I've nothing against him personally, but we were glad he moved on to the orange side of the field.

I don't know if anyone has said this or not, but Tenessee needs to go after Boise State's Chris Peterson, period. To me, that would be their best choice. That hire would be equally comparable to lets say Utah's Urban Meyer.

Why would I take offense to that? The only offense is that you let us have him. Of course, I like his son, and I think he's a real talent, but is it worth what his dad has done with the O line?

Yeah, I've had the same thought with all the changes taking place recently. I give Spurrier another year or two before he decides to ride off into the sunset.

If true, a lot can happen between now and then in the world of coaching. I wouldn't surmise at this point who it might be; however, my hope would be that the AD would be wise enough to pick someone who isn't enrolled with AARP.

Of course, age is not the only factor. No offense but Brad Scott set us back years, and he was supposed to be a young up-and-comer. However, I'd like to see a good young(er) coach with experience take the helm.
