Fanblogs.com: Lee Corso will wear cow outfit this season

  • jake · 1 year ago
Oh how I love some Chik-Fil-A
  • Kevin @ Fanblogs · 1 year ago
    Chik-Fil-A's got nothing on Guthries!!!!
  • jake · 1 year ago
Guthries apparently hasn't made it far enough north yet for me to enjoy - only in AL, FL, GA, MS and TN. I checked out the menu online and it does look tasty. Do you all have Church's Chicken, Long John Silver's, or Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits down south?
  • OU_Ron · 1 year ago
Barry's Chicken Ranch, best chicken west of the Mississippi, Switzers secret receipe, Championship caliber taste, ya'll come back now, here !!!!!
  • jake · 1 year ago
You can tell there's a desperation for college football here. Kevin puts up a somewhat entertaining yet uncontroversial CFB topic because it's the only thing happening (Kevin, I applaud all of your efforts), and the longest discussion within the topic is about fried chicken.

Damn. I just can't wait for kickoff!!!
  • Regan · 1 year ago
Agree. I've already burned thru all the taped 2007 games I had 3 times, which, along with Fanblogs are my only lifeline during the 8 months of desolation.
  • Zac · 1 year ago
I agree Jake! And, I repeat: I Got The Wings!!!!
  • grcunning · 1 year ago
    EAT MORE CHIKIN!!

    signed,
    The Cows
  • shiguy · 1 year ago
that was spelled too nice. i think its more like

    EET MOR CHIKEN!
  • Clemson_Joe · 1 year ago
Yes, we have all of those. We also have Bojangles'. Usually when I leave the south I pick up a gallon or so of sweet tea from Bojangles' to take on the trip with me.
  • Regan · 1 year ago
I miss Roddy's chicken. Big Time. Tailgating in a Clemson parking lot with Roddy's was a tradition for over 15 years for us.
  • Clemson_Joe · 1 year ago
That was good stuff. I miss Skins'. Now that I don't live in the Upstate I can't find a good hotdog to save my life. To be able to get a 'dog that is that good, and to get it for $1.30, now that's just divine.

Lee Corso is laughable as it is.

I actually hope that he puts on the pachyderm cranium that weekend, since it seems that he is usually wrong.
  • The_Central_Scrutinizer · 1 year ago
I think a Chicken Head would be more natural for Lee no matter who's playing.

My gut's telling me Bama wins this one going away. Or to order some chicken (from Popeye's). It's hard to tell sometimes.

    Corso has a baby arm
  • Regan · 1 year ago
Corso is a college football staple. Like him or not (I do), the sport would not be the same if Corso was tied down. He adds a level of zaniness to the sport that is incalculable.

    Sorry, in-cow-culable.

Sorry again - no one deserved that pun. :(

He's a Guinzo (That's Eye-Tal-Yun, if you're Tomcat.). Atsa gude enougha faw mi.
  • 1Tomcat · 1 year ago
Thanks Zac I wasn't familiar with the term Guinzo, most the folks around here are of Mexican decent, not to many Italians. I've been to Italy on one occasion and really enjoyed my visit.
Never been to N.J. or N.Y. but I'd like to go up there just for the heck of it and would probably hang out at the Bada-Bing club, kinda looks like the Cheeta Club in Corpus Christi to me.

"So what are we serving chicken...or chicken?"

Whats really stupid about these hollywood produced comercials is the fact that they have Dairy cattle in their ads. Holsteins are not beef cattle, Angus cattle and Bramha/cross cattle like Brangus or F-1 Braford cattle, Beefmaster, Santa Gecratus, and Charlois etc etc are raised for Beef . Jersey, Brown Swiss Holstein etc. etc. are raised for dairy production milk, cheese and ice cream etc etc. They ought to use Brahma-Longhorn cross in their T.V. ads, but they can't, because they can live on flint rocks & cactus and are mean and make good rodeo stock, those hollywood guys use gentle old milk cows.
    Hookem-Horns
  • shiguy · 1 year ago
you are probably very correct in your errors caught during the commercial. frankly though i don't really care it doesn't bother me. but good catch on that. hey it could be worse it could be like that horrible computer generated movie where the COW which clearly had UTTERS had a male voice! good grief i think that the basic elementary school kid could tell you that bulls are the males.
  • The_Central_Scrutinizer · 1 year ago
Who are you to judge the cow in that CG moovy?
    Perhaps s/he is Questioning (nttawwt).

(Or perhaps he's a mutant with 4 wankers.)
  • Clemson_Joe · 1 year ago
Wow. I just got quite an education on cattle. I am addicted to trivia and that is something I certainly did not know. Thanks Tomcat.
  • cdogg · 1 year ago
Chik-Fil-A is the best. got one 20 minutes from my house. Didn't know chicken could taste that good!
  • 1Tomcat · 1 year ago
A Chicken is a nasty animal, they will eat anything and are cannaballistic.
The best Chickens are Hatch-Clarett cross, Hatch-Kelso or Mexican roundhead. The main problem with raising chickens is that everything eats chickens, Snakes,Owls and Dogs can wipe you out. I used to raise game chickens along time ago and predators were a real problem.
  • exile824 · 1 year ago
I hate Corso. He's cursed Miami a couple of times by putting on Sebastian's head before a game. Beware the curse of Corso!
  • blackdawg · 1 year ago
The best chicken is fried chicken with mashed potatoes and cole slaw. BBQ chickens good to.
  • jake · 1 year ago
You gotta have good BBQ sauce though. Without good sauce, chicken is just chicken.
  • Clemson_Joe · 1 year ago
Unless you're at a Chinese restaurant. Then, chicken is cat.
  • blackdawg · 1 year ago
Cat-Fil-A would definitely not fare well in the upstate.
  • blackdawg · 1 year ago
    Amen to that!!!!!!

Hot wings with a cold one, (maybe two cold ones) a couple of hours before kickoff.pretty dang good. Good sauce required as well.
  • Clemson_Joe · 1 year ago
Let me know the time and place and I'm there.
