I would think that Mississippi looks to be the better matchup, for this year and next, rather than Colorado or Arkansas. Mississippi is clearly tough this year - while the jury seems to still be out on where Colorado and Arkansas are actually heading. My opinion is that all three programs will improve over the next few years. For this particular year - Mississippi is definately the better team.

Go back and reread my previuos post, I think Tommie T understands
Historically these teams have been real tough opponents
Both Miami and Nebraska- storied programs- no argument here
Same can be said for Arkansas and Texas A&M- maybe not same level of success, but non the less both considered schools that usually feild winning football programs.
I'm more than positive that both A&M and Ark were both winning programs kicking ass and taking names and attending bowls when these games were scheduled- now just last year both teams beat tough opponents and attended Bowl games. Both teams have new head coaches this year and have struggled- so still looks like a purty good SEC vs B-12 matchup.
I was just simply making a comparison and Im glad that Texas has a home & home with Ole Miss. Ole Miss looks like a program on the rise and they shouldna knocked of #2 Bama IMHO

Texas A&M and Arkansas & Texas and Mississippi tough match-ups? Texas A&M is terrible right now and Arkansas' coach may quit after Thanksgiving and that's a good match up. If Texas actually played Georgia, Florida, Louisiana State, or Alabama...you might go into a coma. Crimson & Cream True.

Sounds like a good matchup- same can be said about the Arkansas vs Texas A&M
Folks now a days names don't mean anything - no offense to anybody- but that's the way it is.
These games sound like marque matchups-glad that these teams have the balls to schedule tough opponents- or seemingly so. The Texas vs Ole Miss games look better than the Texas vs Colo or Arkansas- who woulda ever thought that.

Have to agree Lennie. "CaneMutiny" doesn't exactly sound like a Nebraska fan. In addition I think that Nebraska fans do know maybe a little something about "rivalry" i.e. Oklahoma, Colorado...

Here's hoping that the Huskers will stabilize with Pelini and end up back in the ranks of your team "sooner" rather than later, Lennie...

And then, the reference to the looooong length of time the "rivalry" has taken place:
