I don't know much about Smith, but what I hear is he could be "the one". We'll find out this spring what he's really made of.

I like Harris, although Marve definately had the advantage from the extra year. What do you know about Cannon Smith?

I always preferred Marve to Harris. I thought Marve's upside was bigger, but I knew that he was also the bigger risk. The more I hear about him though, the more I'm glad he's gone. If you don't want to compete for PT, you need to find somewhere else. Plaing time by seniority is what got us in the mess we're in now.

Because the Marves and their representatives have been in talks with those schools about a transfer long before the Emerald Bowl. I don't blame the university one bit for not allowing them to barter for one of our players while he's still our player.

I never understood too why players were not allowed to transfer when a coach leaves for a new job. We all know that most players don't give a hoot about the school, it is the coach that really has most to do with them picking said school.

I get FLA, but why restrict Marve from TENN and LSU?

MIA doesn't play either team in the immediate future (I don't thimk). I get the 'private discussions' thing, but who cares as far as the 'Canes are concerned?

Besides, TENN could really use him.
