I think the road uniforms are very generic. I mean, if Cal/Pitt/WVU/etc were wearing the jersey... it would be exactly the same thing. I really appreciated the classic Michigan roadie. I think the "tails" are just a little too... modern... for Michigan.

OU Ron...Maizy aka Corny! I have said it before and I will say it again: Michigan needs to get rid of the stripe non-sense on their helmets, PUT a wolverine on the helmet. While Kevin playing I would be happyu if they would put the X-Men's Wolverine and adopt blue pants on the road! That is a big a number one on the home and a small a one on the away. Maizy...aka...Corny!

War Eagle Atlanta, Crimson & Cream True is not a cheer. It's a pledge to Oklahoma. If Oklahoma does not win the National Championship I will not be content with another Big 12 team "winning it". If I left it would be because I am tired of the nonsense on here. You know it gets boring after a while saying how much you "hate" your team's rivals and make fun of someone else's opinion. I am going to talk football, serious football. If I got to act foolishly to get "approval" points...then keep subtracting. I noticed that last night that the jokesters on here have the highest approval ratings. That's not me. When I feel this blog is getting too silly than I will do like ol' DmanLV and go to another blog and talk football! Is this blog informative? Yes! Is some of these comments not worth while? Yes! I can admit I have post many. I have not one thing against 1Tomcat or 40 Acres of Burnt Orange BUT do you got to post on every single doggone post how much you hate OKLAHOMA? 1Tomcat bring up a silly comment on EVERY thread something stupid about Oklahoma. You think after a year he would stop but he is getting worse. 40 Acres of Burnt Orange claims how much he hates Oklahoma and he has probably never been there. If he does or does not that's his business BUT to post on every thread, it gets old! If you don't agree about a certain idea then your intelligence or sexually is questioned. I am glad that: Do you think the SEC is the "toughest" conference in football on a job application! I know I would have not gotten hired!1Tomcat, 40 Acres of Burnt Orange, or whoever keep subtracting I could careless. The stripes are "barely visible" on the home blues? Look pretty IN-visible to me.
But all in all, they could have done worse. And the inside stuff is pretty cool, but I'd like to see it before I pass judgment.

They are visible if you click through to some of the larger images. They are the exact same shape & size as the maize stripes, just tone on tone blue.

I actually like the roadies a lot. One thing I don't like is that the home and road look like different styles because the home jerseys leave out the (what should be maize) stripe.

Michigan has the best helmets in all of college football. I'm bias because I wore them in highschool (orange helmet/white wings).

Those lines are from where the seams were placed in the old leather helmets. That funny wavy thing in the front was a thicker strap of leather.
I don't think Michigan is going to remove a helmet tradition that goes back to leather.

Ya Lennie I guess your right, you see its nothing personal I really dont like the Sooners and you dont like the Horns and thats what makes this country great. You kinda got to take things as they are and just laugh about it. The Michigan Uni's are OK by me and those Helmets do have a classic look. I had the OK st vs Troy game recorded from last year and though I'd look at it before I deleted it, well it was delayed because of bad weather, so they had Lou Holtz & Mark May talking about Michigan vs Notre Dame wouldnt you know it, both teams were 0-2 and they still had to talk it up.Hey I'm no sports writer,and I know that some of the stuff I put on here might sound stupid to some folks, but at least I'm not trying to promote a game between two 0-2 teams, now thats stupid. Hey Geauxtigers I really respect coach Tressel and OSU and dont really care who wins the game. I can understand how some WV fans would want OSU to beat coach Rod, probably just as much or more than some other fans. BTW I'm the one that said little red wagon, heck I was just casting my line, however it appears that someone else snagged the fish. Let me try again, Headlines read after losing to Texas & Ole Miss Pertino leaves and Arkansas hires Barry Switzer. OU loses to TCU,UT,TTech and A&M finishes 1-4 against Texas teams winning by a narrow margin in OT to BU.

And my stance on the uni's is I like the roadies and could take or leave the homies. Pretty much opposite of what I seeing from everyone else so I guess I'll be the loner today. As far as the helmets, they're classics. I love 'em. There's no mistaking who that team is when you see the Maize scallops, for lack of a better word. Penn St's, on the other hand, make me want to kick my dog.
