Yes I am surprising to read this news. That usually I seen in this blog. I was shocked. NCAA targeting the mid term schools. They improve the game in athletics. This is a best choice to this management. To come up the students.

The NCAA want to improve the academic performance of student-athletes. The NCAA's heart is in the right place. The rules and regulations are very good to improve the students.

I used to believe, based on VT’s road to football success, that the NCAA, while sometimes clueless, was both interested and succeeding in leveling the playing field. Now, I’m beginning to think they just want to cut off the mountain tops so politicians don’t get involved while protecting and increasing their revenues.
How else do you explain the lack of sanctions against USC after Reggie Bush, or the impunity and entitlement USC has obviously felt they deserve evident in their handling of Mayo? Or the NCAA’s selective punishments? Or how about their vehement refusal to produce a legitimate playoff system? I’ve expressed it before; a truly level playing field will NECESSITATE a playoff system. There will be too many teams too closely matched to determine, convincingly, a NC based on a modified popularity contest.

Why on earth does this surprise anyone? Is there anyone out there who honestly expects a "level playing field"? There isn't a level playing field between the BCS Subdivision & the Play-Off Subdivision. Why should there be between the "Big Six" and the "also ran's"?

How's that for an "oxy-moronic statement"? But, I do agree with, "…rules are only as good as their enforcement." Yeah, like right out of Kevin's "Duh" article.

Personally, if the NCAA is going to make rules, then either not enforce them or make excuses for not enforcing them, then they should not be allowed to make rules, let alone enforce them. "DUH!!!"
