I gotta go with the Arkansas fans. Even after we pummeled those guys 70-14 and 50-14 (something like that) in 2005 and 2006 - these guys still insisted that they would have beaten us last year. Truly amazing to me. And, after they "upset" LSU, they were really convinced of it. My lord! Check it out. I'm a Raider fan also. But, Darren McFadden isn't gonna lead the Buc's anywhere - at least not htis year. Hog fans are the worst.

Ya'll got it all wrong, passionate does not equal obnoxious. LSU fans are the most passionate, Bama fans are the most obnoxious. Then again, you got drunk a-holes everywhere...except vandy, they don't have a football team anymore, do they?
Ya'll need to go do some reading about how fans are treated when they go to Death Valley, ask the VaTech fans. We are very assionate, dedicated and die-hard. We'll tell you your team sux, rub it in during the game, then buy you an Abita at an off campus bar and talk college football, because we are also knowledgeable.
I am from Baton Rouge and now live in Phoenix, AZ. I had a friend go down there last year and tell me it was the best expereince he has ever had at a college football game....and he was wearing a USC trojan t-shirt. Come one people, wake up!!!

BIGWAREAGLE I think you nailed it good. Have ya'll ever noticed that when you see a Gay tor driving to an away game he or she is always alone? It's cause they are so obnoxious they cqan't even stand one another. Look for it this year. They take seperate cars and meet at the bus station or red roof.

Actually I think obnoxiousness is a three part process.

2) Some amount of disappointment
3) A bit of success

as an LSU
alum i do think our bad rep is mostly hyperbole. i have never encountered more obnoxious and violent fans than those behind the scarlet and grey of Ohio State. LSU fans at their worst don't come close.
