That QB Josh Freeman has had his moments of brilliance, but I don't know if he's like a Daniel, Bradford, Harrell, or McCoy... He has the right size characteristics for the NFL, and might be more highly coveted than the aforementioned QBs...
It's tough beating TE to the punch on these...
But because he's not, it's simply because he just wasn't getting the job done. That is to say, his inability to coach the team successfully.
Interesting......

Unfortunately, people like you wouldn't be satisfied until nearly every team had a person of color as the head coach. You choose to stereotype people of the south because of the history that we are not proud of, nor do the majority support. As you said once before, there are racists all across the country. But people not from the south use acts that took place decades ago to lump everyone together and label us all racists.
I was raised mostly by a black woman because both my parents worked. Ms Blanche Williams (God rest her soul) worked with my parents to teach us morals, character and to never, ever judge a person on appearance alone. So I take offense to being lumped in with what everyone percieves us to be...and that is against black folks. There is trash in every race, for lack of a better word. These days, schools are open to all races, unless of course you want to attend one of the "black" colleges our state continually supports. That, to me, is racism against caucasions (sp?). I refuse to be a part of anything that alines itself in that manner. So to think that there aren't any black coaches in the SEC simply because of their race is, in my opinion, not true. All of the resources are there and available for anyone to better themselves. And if you're a person of color, there's even more through policies such as Affirmative Action - which believes in giving preferential treatment to these underqualified persons. It is a well known fact in my line of work that your chances of becoming employed by any of the major oil company's is greatly increased if you're a black female due to policies I just mentioned.....instead of absolute ability and skill.
In a sport where winning is of the utmost importance, I believe that the best possible candidate would get the job. Maybe not 50 years ago, or even 40 years ago. But today, yes. I can honestly say that if Tony Dungy wanted to coach the LSU Tigers, he would get the job. And it's because of one thing Lenny.......ability to produce.
Answer me this....what would happen if someone decided to form WET....White Entertainment Television? Can you imagine the uproar, protests, and million man marches? I for one, would be opposed to it because it advocates what I denounce, and that is racism. Yet BET is ok. It's a double standard Lennie and it's wrong.
I think you'de be a fun guy to go back and forth with on the subject of our teams....especially since we've got dibs right now. But if race has to be intejected every so often from you, I'd rather not acknowledge.
To everyone else...I appologize for the rant. I know this is not the place for it.

No apology necessary. Some things have to be said. How else may we learn? Besides, I don't think you've broken the record for the most paragraphs in a "rant".
I brought up the race issue because if this coach would have been in the SEC and let go, you would have been the first one on here going on about the SEC's lack of black coaches. Yet, on this thread, because the coach isn't in the SEC (which you apparently have a hard on for.....probably since 2003), your response to a black coach getting fired was simply that he wasn't getting the job done. I know it, and you know it too. Why is that?
As far as the background, that was given to simply relay the fact that, contrary to your beliefs, not all southerners are racist. Your post about the lack of black SEC coaches is evidence that this is your stance. I owe you no explanation, nor do you deserve one, but once the rant was started, it kept building. What's done is done.
Now BET. Again, part of the rant. I brought it up to see how you would justify it and explain the double standard that black folks have. You and I both know that if someone were to try and start WET (White Entertainment Television), the NAACP would be all over it. It would never reach the air waves. BET is cable network based in Washington, D.C. targeted toward young black and urban audiences in the United States. Robert L. Johnson founded the network in 1980 just so you know. It has nothing to do with MTV. They were playing several black artists video's other than Michael Jackson. Lionel Ritchie, Eddie Murphy, Bobby Brown and Boys to Men, to name a few. I know because I was a young teen back then who watched and enjoyed MTV. So that claim is unfounded as well.
You play your race card when it's convenient and meets your agenda to denegrade the south.
I don't have a race card nor any use for people who do.

That being said, I've said my peace and I'm done with it. Have a nice holiday season and God Bless.

Do you remember the song" can't touch this"?
Tommorw those Sooners come into College Station Texas for the beatdown they deserve, the biggest upset of the season tommorow in Aggieland- Kyle feild home of the 12th man
Gigem-Aggies beat the H out OU
Afterv they get beat by the Aggies, they can go back home and lose to the Red Raiders prior to another beatdown in Stillwater- OU Sux
If it happens, it will definitely be a huge upset. He also explained to me alot of the traditions they do at A&M. It was some pretty cool stuff. I hope they can pull it out. Sorry OU-Ron...lol.

Go Cowboys- did I say that ?
BTW yall got a satelite Disc on the rig?
what games can yall get?
I definitely dont have anything against OU or Bob Stoops. I just like seeing an upset now and then. Hopefully my team can do the same today.
And I'm pretty sure you took OU in the Pick 'Em this week. Seeing as how I need to make up ground on you and Clemson Joe, I'm picking the other way in hopes of at least a cover by the underdogs in a few games.
Good luck, none-the-less. Kyle Field is steep in tradition and from what I'm told, very hard to win in by visiting teams.

It would explain alot about you. Calling you stupid would be an insult to the stupid people.
And I've decided I could have way more fun responding to you from here on out. So get ready...lol. I'd say get your thinking cap on but if you took the time to tell me everything you knew, it would take about 10 seconds.

You couldn't get a job at Burger King doing french fries and in 143 days, become the manager. A nurse, with 143 days in the field, couldn't suddenly become head of surgery. Yet this smooth talker came out and preached one word...."change"....and the masses followed, much the way they followed Jim Jones back in the day.
It was funny, yet scary at the same time, when I heard the street interviews done by the Howard Stern show. He sent a guy on the street to interview the public, specifically, Obama supporters. But when conducting the interviews, he inserted McCain's beliefs and issues he backs behind Obama. For example: "So are you comfortable with Obama's selection of Sarah Palin as his VP?" The response: "Oh yeah, oh yeah...they're gonna be great togoether!" And another: "So are you happy that Obama is against gun control?" The response: "Oh yeah...we need our guns!"
He won because of the illiterate supporters who voted on skin color and one word..."change". Forgive me for wanted a President who has experience in the field of the job he's applying for....26 years to be exact. I mean, this guy actually has a law named after him. I'll let you look it up (though I doubt that's possible).
I could go on for 8 more paragraphs on why McCain is better qualified for the job over NObama, but this is a college football blog and I want to keep it that way. Besides, you don't deserve justification of my political views anyway.

Wow. So which is it genius? Do you want to know or don't you?
Perhaps you're still pissed about 2003. Please tell me that's not the case. Please tell me you've moved on since then.
LSU is doing fine. Their freshman QB is horrible but other than that, we're doing fine. Thanks for asking. The concern is appreciated.
So how's that "impersonating a human being" thing working out for you? I'd say it needs some work.
Now act like horse sh_t and hit the trail you retard.

TURNER GILL, TURNER GILL ,TURNER GILL. Lert's get it done. Can I say more
He's a proven winner everywhere he goes, K- State would be a good fit, his style didnt fit Bama or A&M, two programs that are old school with outrages expectations- were you go 8-4 and get fired
Are you aware of the fact that Dennis Francione quit Bama? Expectations had nothing to do with his departure.
Hopefully Kansas St. will open up their bank account a little bit, and hire an assistant or a head coach with a list of accomplishments, and return the program back to the height of the Bill Snyder days.
On the other hand, Mr. Holtz guided our search for his replacement. He hooked us up with a good one.
