The Sooners 2010 non conference is is complete. I would love for the Sooners to put an away game with the Cougars. When that would happen?

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

It was not intended to be a knock on OU or that they're scared. I don't blame Oklahoma or any other Big 12 or SEC school for not wanting to play a tough OOC away game when their in-conference schedule is brutal enough.

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

I know...Oklahoma has it on their webpage! I don't think Oklahoma is afraid to go onto Brigham Young home field to play! Oklahoma 2010 non-conference schedule is already completed. If you would like to visit OU's webpage to see that Oklahoma is not afraid!

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

Why are you sure that's as close as OU wants to get to a home and home ????

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

There's also word out there that BYU and Oklahoma might play next season. It would be at a "neutral" venue, the Cowboys new stadium. I'm sure this is as close as OU wants to get to agreeing to a home-and-home. Too bad because BYU also has an open home date in 2010.
http://deseretnews.com/blog...

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

All teams need to upgrade their out of conference schedules. This is good for both teams!

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

should be a good game. i actually want to see it.

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

I think it depends on when they play during the season. Groh's UVA teams seem to start very slowly and get much stronger as the season progresses. Either way, at least this time they didn't schedule an OOC against a national title contender, and managed to not agree to go play in the highest elevated stadium in the country. Both of those resulted in losses for the Wahoos.

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

I second that!

Re: TCU - UVa agree to home-and-home

UVA maybe shoulda reconsidered this match-up. They're outta conference record, especially away, hasn't been particularly stellar. Maybe they shoulda considered FL Atlantic. Seriously, I wish them a lot of luck. TCU is a good squad! They may not be USC, but they'll be good for a couple more non-conference losses in that series. Remember, you heard it here 1st!!!
