Fanblogs.com: The last BCS crystal trophy?

Wal Mart carries some really nice glassware so there's still hope.

First Utah...Now Waterford...Are these simple coincidence?

Or an omen portending to something much larger?
  • FanoftheGame · 11 months ago
It seems only fitting that the trophy become just as mythical as the national championship itself.

If we're going to continue having mythical national championships, they should give out mythical trophies, too. I can hear it now, "Just pretend you're holding it up on the podium. Remember...it's heavy."

I don't think Cristie Kerr will ever live that picture down...

I understand that there's a factory in Guan Dong province that makes a hell of a knock-off Waterford crystal football.

That's where Florida was able to order up their replacement after that recruit knocked it over. Right?

First Billy Donovan breaks the crystal basketball, and now they destroy the crystal football? That university does not deserve another crystal ball.

Billy Donovan broke the replica on purpose to make a point with his players. Completely different scenario.

Did that kid ever sign with Florida?
  • Mr2Bits · 11 months ago
That was Orson Charles, he is an undecided 09 recruit

Like I said in that thread moons ago (no pun intended), if FL can put that kid's butt to good use on the field...

I hear that an ostrich egg is nearly the same size. Maybe sombody can research that. Wrap one with a litte aluminum foil and BINGO!!.....back in business.

Then again, it may not be worth the wear and tear on the ostrich's ass.

Maybe they should just hire one of the local jewelers who make those stupid sight-gag commercials to get people in their stores...I'm sure they could come up with something really classy.

    LOL.

Maybe they can get the Franklin Mint to come up with something. Just imagine, for 5 easy payments of $3599.95 (plus S&H)...
