Are they selling Maker's dripped with the 2 main colors of your school down there now, too? They charge a little more for it here, so I find it to be quite ridiculous.

Agree!

Plus Aggie fans aren't the best evaluators of head coaches. Remember when everyone was calling for R.C. Slocum''s head and was elated when they got Frachione. R.C. never had a losing season at A&M and the defense was always reliable.

My father was born on a farm in NE Texas. We always pulled for the Cowboys, the Aggies, and UT if they weren't playing Texas A&M.
Believe me you don't want Tommy Bowden coaching anywhere in Texas! He has no clue what physical football is about. He couldn't win consistently in the ACC. He never came close to beating VT! His team with two of the best RBs in the country last year had 60 yds rushing vs Furman, 34 vs GT, 8 vs VT, and 47 vs BC in the game that would have taken him to his first ACCCG! If that is Texas football, Texas has changed greatly for the worse!

Bowden is the classic underachiever that would be a HUGE mistake for A&M. He is a loser and that bullchit article about Clemson being a top 20 team year in and year out is crap. They have rarely been ranked in the top 20 at the end of the last 10 seasons. He is a garbage coach.

Bowden always said that Clemson would be his last job, and right now I can see that. I think A&M would be a good hire, then get rid of him right as your stock is rising. But I think Bowden will either stay in the ACC or go to the Big East IF he even comes back to coaching. Now WVU isnt looking as good as we all thought this season, and Pat Stewart isnt exactly the youngest guy out there. I could see Bowden at his Alma Mater, or at Louisville. Now that is a better higher than TAMU. Lets be honest those people will chastise him worse than we did down here.

I don't think Tommy Bowden would be a good fit at all. When he left Clemson, his team was no longer responding to him. His QB, that he demoted two days before he left said.."HE got what he deserved."

i'm definitely not complaining about the money on the facilities. That will DEFINITELY help us in the long run. What our NEXT coach needs to understand is regardless of how incredibly talented your skill position players are, you still need a good OL to block!! No one can gain significant yardage with three guys draped on them as soon as they get the ball... It really doesn't matter to me if A&M is crazy enough to hire him or not, I just wish that they would have courted and landed him LAST year!!!

HIre Bowden and get him to bring Brad Scott with him to coach the OL and hire Rob Spence as the OC. You'll be a consistent pre-season top 20'er or maybe even top 15 and by the end of the season you'll be lucky to be noticed by the polls.

Hey Gigem2006 Would you not agree that the Aggies dream all year long of beating the Horns, its kinda like what they aspire to do and after a 8 year drought they pulled it off twice in consecutive seasons. I saw the A&M vs TTech, A&M vs Neb and the A&M vs OU games in 2006 all those games shoulda been victories for the Aggs, Too many times they were settling for 3 instead of going for it on 4th down, so close yet so far away, then by some divine miracle they pulled off the huge upset of UT in Austin, then they got whuped in their Bowl appearance.
I kinda figured that Dennis was on his way out,Then last year 07 that E-Mail scandle and losses against Miami and Texas Tech and yet another Bowl game loss sealed his fate.
Dont worry they are not going to run Sherman off and hire Bowden, Davis or Tubberville.
The Aggies might pull off one more win this season but it aint gonna happen in Austin or Waco
Good luck against the Sooners & Cowboys
