Same old Gator running issues were exposed this weekend and due to Coral Gables game plan we still have NO idea if the secondary is really improved...

I fully agree. I think the Gators sputtered the entire Miami game, until the middle of the 4th period. Before the season started one writer (Phil, whatever his name is) stated that this Gator team is more talented than the NC team. I really don't know what he basis that on. I wish the Gators would just hush, be humbled and play football.

I'd wanna Top-10 format (Preliminary round pits the bottom 4 to play-off, rounding out the ToP-8, and so on.). For now, I'd take anything which remotely resembles a play-off.

I empathize whole heartedly. Abstract Algebra was my nemisis. Had to take it 3 times and finally passed with a good solid "C." It wasn't even an upper level class. You had to pass it to get the Math degree though.

Notice I responded to the Mayor's request for more explanation. I was originally content with a simple list and a brief explanation of the procedure in case anyone was crazy enough to want to know its origin.

Other than the mishandled HMML code, intended only to make the first line bold, I think the method is fairly self explanatory. From the ranking linked at the start of this thread the results are fairly straight forward.

Using the AP or Coaches poll the teams would remain the same but Oregon drops between USF and Penn State.

This ranking is intended to stand opposed to the BCS AQ hit list which includes exactly all BCS non-AQ conference members in the top 20.

BCS AQ hit list:

BYU
Utah

Teams in the top 20 of a poll are within a good win of the top 14. The top 14 is the boarder for BCS eligibility.

If no non BCS team is in the top 14 the BCS AQ conferences don't lose a spot to them. Alternatively, if only two BCS AQ conferences have teams in the top 14 two spots would be open for top 14 BCS non AQ conference teams.

This list is intended to point out who most needs to lose to allow the possibility of TWO non BCS teams getting a BCS Bowl.

If people are going talk about BCS busters, why not kick it up a notch?

That does pretty much settle it. One of my very best bud's is a "Pig Farmer" from Bama. He oozez crimson also. But, that guy couldn't tell if his shoes were stinkin' or not, on account of the barnyard that's camped out in his living room. Needless to say - all get-togethers are at somebody else's crib. That's probably why Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote the song, "Can you smell that smell"? Probably didn't have anything to do with illicit drugs. This guy isn't gonna even get a whiff of your drift.

Nutt was lazy in recruiting. He didn't even go after Broderick Greene, who would have been the prototype successor to McFadden. Jerry Franklyn signed with us because he loved Arkansas. He agreed with Orgeron when Orgeron told him over the phone,"Why don't you sign with us, You know I'm trying way harder to get you that he is." He had a lot of athletes and a lot of them he got because it was the U of A. The passing game wasn't impressive, but did they try improve it? No, kept spending practice time on the running game.
