These are listed as old rivals by level of dislike
Its really good to be a Longhorn fan because alot of teams dont like us and always give 100% in dreams of beating Texas on occasion. For Example Texas Techs win over Texas this year is a monumental moment in their programs history. When we beat them just about every year its no big deal and we have a history of knocking off #1 teams- so really no big deal- just putting things in perspective- To all the Tide fans I can just say welcome back- where yall been- targets on yalls back now.

No Utah cannot get to the title game. The only way they will get there is to switch to a better Confrence. They will get their butt spanked by a fifth place SEC or ACC team.

Sad part is that UT may not go to BCS because only two from each conference can attend. If OU beats TTech they will probably jump Texas and get to play Missu in the B-12 game. That would really suck and Texas would finish 11-1 and be #4 in conference, unlike other conferences B-E for example or ACC could have 2 or 3 loss representative in BCS.
We kinda have to pull for BU to beat TTech, which would be a huge upset and hope the Sooners stubble in Stillwater, both things could happen- ya never know. One thing is for sure- UT is gonna whup A&M in Austin Turkey day- it aint even gonna be funny. I attended the BU vs A&M game and the Bears stomped the Aggies, the A&M QB threw 4 int's and the Bears dominated the Aggs 41-7 at the end of the 3rd- game finished 41-21 after the Bears put in 2nd string and coulda scored again at the end but instead just ran the ball to the A&M 10 yard line, kneeled a couple of times letting time expire. Great Game
Other than one big pass play and a blocked punt- A&M couldnt do nothing

And, that was by far the best defensive effort put forth by any Big 12 team this year. Texas, probably more than any other Big 12 team, has the ability to go out and play some dominant defense. They just need to do it on a more consitent basis. They sure did the job against Kansas. That 35-7 victory, was far more impressive, than anything resembling some of these scores like 65-37. When Texas gets into their BCS bowl game - they are gonna have to buckle down on defense. Those games are gonna be really tough, and the games will be won with ball control, and hard-nosed defense.

Look take any team from the SEC including Fla and Bama and give them
Colo,Ark,OK,Missu,OK St,TTech,BU,KU in consecutive weeks-Texas schedule
Sorry bubba there is no comparison
BU would do well against Ole Miss, Miss st, Vandy, Tenn, Ark,AU,USC etc etc
BU held A&M to 64 yds rushing and got 4 INT's yesterday- no defense?
BU 269 yds rushing- 241 yds passing
BU would do real well in the SEC, but they play in B-12 south with a first year coach and a Freshman QB, they would be ranked and Bowl bound if they were in the SEC
Teams like Texas dont get to play easy schedules like Bama and if yall get them in a bowl its going to be embarassing for the Tide faithful, because yall really aint ever faced a team like Texas and if yall had yall wouldnt be undefeated

Does the Orange Bowl still have a Big-12 option? If so, FSU or Miami could just as easily be playing TX Tech or TX, and the Big East have to settle for the Gator Bowl. (Of course, if ND doesn't get one more win, they're in the Gator Bowl. If they do, they're in the BCS. So, what need it worry ya?)

That's a match-up I was hoping for! Question is, what do ya suppose would happen if they played, and after the game both men announced their retirements? Joe Pa's been look'n awful shaky over the last couple of post-game press-conferences.

but.
Randy Shannon isn't even in the same coaching WORLD as Nick Saban.
Miami will be in the dumps until y'all hire a real coach.
Shannon will most likely be gone after next season.
