It's too much, way too much. Anyways it's not talent, it's motivation. He does throw quite crappy. I still recall watching his untipped pass flop about through the air like a fish on a 10-15 foot pass against LSU. In this recent game he couldn't hit the numbers once, recievers made awesome plays.

Texas should've beat Tech with the late interception. They didn't, and they got left out in the cold come NC time. Like Mack said, every team has been on the winning side of the bcs and every team has experienced the losing side from time to time. Being a Texas fan, I am upset that Texas didn't get in this year and that we kept being given hope over and over. However, there is always next year and McCoy will be back to lead the Horns to another great year. Texas made it farther than anyone thought they would this year, and we should be looking forward to routing OSU in the Fiesta Bowl. Hook em Gators! (Haha, does that work?)

That was '99 (Vick at QB), the year after they lost to Tenn.

In '93 they beat Nebraska for the NC.

Its Cool- unlike SEC fans Texas fans dont like OU- dosn't matter that they snuck in to the XII champ game and run up numbers on Missu. We will be pullin for Fla Gators
Early prediction OU will throw some picks after Fla shuts down the run game.

Thanks BamaBabe I sure wanted to see a Texas vs Bama game, maybe next year- Your right, because terms like media darlings and style points are what really counts.It really doesnt matter what you do during the regular season just run up the score on your opponents.
I looked at Fox sports last night and it was really disgusting to see Barry Switzer grinning ear to ear, now that OU is #1
The San Antonio Express news says to pull for OU-Thats crazy because we dont like OU, I pull against them in every game. I changed channeols and looked at ESPN and Craig James was the only guy on there that made any sense. Lee Corso talked about how great the TCU Horned Frogs are and how their defense held OU to only 35 points, the season low for OU.
He didnt mention that the Texas defense held them to 35 points.
Lou Holtz asked What defense has Texas played against- Dr Lou they played against the #1 OU and scored 45 points on them.
Florida will beat OU and Texas will beat tOSU
Your right Bama Babe because in the XII conference you can beat the best team in league by ten points and play the toughest schedule in the nation and if one kid misses a tackle with 1 second left on the clock then the Champ game features two teams that you beat during the regular season so that your arch rival can pile up stats and become the media darlings.

Agreed The BU Bears played them a tough game led 28-14 at one point, The BU bears were driving late in the fourth after TTech scored following an INT making it 35-28.BU got the ball back and the drive ended on downs after two sacks, TTech took possession and time expired.
Ole Miss vs TTech ought to be a good one

I ordinarily hold Texas Fan in high regard--it certainly struck me as uncharacteristic--shoulda' seen right through it.

Come to find it's a Cane fan, doin' what they've been doing best, since losing the '02 NC game to OSU: whining about how they were dun wrong by the Man...

...whining about how their coach hadn't won'em a NC in 4 years, so they fired him...

...whining about how the City of Miami wouldn't fix the Orange Bowl for them (never bothering to offer to cooperate in such renovations, thereby losing their home to the Marlins, and being relocated to a stadium they can't even come close to filling...).

...whining about how Meyer hung an extra FG on 'em for kicks, after the game was in hand...

I am a Miami Hurricane Fan. The best team in the state in National Tittles. 5 in Football 4 in baseball 0 in Basketball, Florida 2 in football 0 in baseball 2 in basketball, FSU 2 in football 0 in Baseball 0 in basketball. And Miami plays Basketball in the best Conf ACC.

If you have a problem with the fact that Texas is not in the NC game, complain to the Big XII. Florida did not take Texas's place in the game, Oklahoma did because of the Big XII rules. Your argument is not making sense because you are blaming the SEC champ. It's Oklahoma's jump of Texas that mattered, not Florida's.

And remember, the BCS favors WHEN you lose. Florida was not number 1 when they lost to Ole Miss. Their continual beatdown of opponents after that game earned them a #4 ranking and spot in the SECCG, in which they beat #1 Alabama. Florida deserves to be in the NC. Oklahoma does too. There's an argument for Texas, but if you have a problem with that, it's your conference that screwed up.

Lets see, by my count if number one Oklahoma POUNDS Florida who is number two and Texas(#3) beats Ole Miss( not sure they play, I will have to check the bowl schedule if something changed from last night, Hotty Toddy is going to be stoked he made it into the Fiesta bowl) then, well let me see, carry the two, Yep I think it will be Oklahoma being number one now will retain this spot but only barely, just a slight margin, skimming by their teeth.

Case and point is that nobody wants to see Texas play Oklahoma again. What happens if Oklahoma wins that game? Then Texas is back at square one complaining they won the game earlier in the year and deserve a best of three? Just let it go. Texas should have not jumped Florida last week to begin with.

Nabraska got a shot at Miami without winning there conf championship in 2001. Big Ten doesn't even have a conf championship and Ohio State got back to back shots. So conf championships shouldn't play into it. Texas was ranked higher and didn't lose but Florida jumped them, I hope OU pounds the Gators and Texas pounds Ole Miss, then what. Who is #1?
