As the ancient adage goes:
"If brains were dynomite, whould you have enough to blow your nose?"
On the other hand the game was also on the original nintendo so for the other half of the audience here they're probably thinking "that sh#ts an antique!!"
I think i'm going to start using these lines here we come north carolina!!! You have no chance to survive make your time!!! hahaha

I hope that this clears things up a little bit for people.
You should repost it below .
GO GATORS!!
Is anyone else thinking that West Virginia's brass went for a complete "yes man" last year with this hire?
That being said I'm fed up with this offensive coordinator. His play calls will leave you scratching your head and several times don't even take into account the obvious reactions among opposing teams (2 back-to-back noel devine plays with a 3rd consecutive one then on a 3rd and 1 ! ARE YOU F-ING SERIOUS?!) That and his inability to prepare the offense is also disturbing. There were several times when White would look at the sidelines while the guys were figuring out what signals to give essentially giving them the open palmed "WHAT THE F#@K ARE WE DOING!!"
Unfortunately for WVU we're in a bad spot after last year with Rod's offensive coordinator pulling the "racism" card for why WVU didn't consider him for coach (ya leave the school...and then come back saying 'i should be coach'. i'm sure that's going to work out well). As it is because of that WVU has now had to launch this whole "One WVU" ad campaign to try and clear their name a little. They play it at every home game and during commercial breaks (which is BS because they didn't do anything needing it in the first place). There is a lot of people who are a little worried that should Mullen get the axe he might play up the same card as well. I'm not saying that he would, and if he does go it would be because of his lack of knowledge for the system, not race, but I'm sure WVU is a little cautious right now to not garner any more of that negative attention.
I must admit feeling for WVU didn't realize they went through a racism thing. Ole Miss got slammed with one after Orgeron too because the didn't interview an ethnic person (a minority candidate). They knew who they wanted and we need to stop pretending like there are a lot of available good minority candidates out there. Big schools are after proven commodities not a vaugely successful coordinator from another school (generally). That said Ken Niumatalolo and Turner Gill are probably good choices, but would they fit at just any job? Why interview someone that doesn't fit? Choosing or even interviewing someone based on skin tone is racism and that ESPN or any one else would condone it is disgusting. Affirmitave Action in coach selection (ESPN has harped on this since Ty WIllingham was fired). I will feel bad for Miami if that bleeding heart liberal Donna Shalala can't fire Randy Shannon because he just isn't working out. Maybe he will do awesome next year, he certainly is a great recruiter, but so far not so good. He improved over his massive flop last year though he made Duke look competetive both years, a team with the worst talent in the league vs. the team with arguably the best this year.
Big mistake = "I have just one more thing to say." WRONG. Answer direct questions, and get out. Don't offer any more than is requested. Stay on script and within the boundaries imposed by the media present and asking questions. Obviously, no one in the room asked about W. Virginia's volume of coal or oil reserves - so don't bring it up yourself.
There are some topics that simply do not blend well. Coal, oil, brains and defensive schemes would be firmly in that category. There's simply nothing to be gained by venturing into these waters when you're a coach. With political or pseudo-political topics like this you run the high risk of coming off just looking like a baffoon (as is the case here), or even if you pull it off eloquently, you're then going to have 50% of the people for you and 50% against. And in an occupation with as little stability as his, alienating 50% is never a good idea.
The state of Florida has enough orange juice to give the world diabetes.
The state of Florida has enough old people to provide gray wigs for the world.
The state of Florida has enough brains to count votes, this year.
Wait, that was three things.
Florida has NOTHING on West-by-God-Virginia, man...
Of course, he said oil to lubricate the world, not refine it into fuel...
Perhaps he was thinking of sun-tan oil...
The structure of my post here is starting to resemble those from Gatorhippy...
The San Fernando Valley has enough oil to lubricate the world.
The state of Wisconsin has enough cheese to support all the mouse-trap factories in the world.
The state of Wisconsin has enough massively obese people to balance out all the health nuts in the world and keep things even on the fat'o meter.
The state of Wisconsin has enough bratwurst to make the rest of the world as obese as it is, in less than a decade.
....NEXT....?....
The state of Oklahoma has enough oil to fuel the world
The state of Oklahoma has enough football players TO BRING HOME NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP #8!!!
Coach Stewert's speech reminds me of Pinky & the Brain- What are we going to do today Brain? Same thing we do every day Pinky- take over the World
43 players from Texas
31 from Oklahoma
not as many Texas players as the Cowboys
One thing about Texas weather if you dont like it just wait a while it will change.

Funny story, in driving to the 2005(6) Sugar Bowl, I was on I-75 in a 99 Gran Prix when along comes a camo spray painted 80's suburban. The driver then, wearing some brown overalls, hung out the window and yelled, "GO BACK TO WEST VIRGINIA YA REDNECKS!"
Don't think about that too long before goo starts oozing out your ears.........
Below is an example of our earnest attempt to change (we still can't part with our Fatback Queen but we're making progress):
http://www.thestate.com/breaking/story/616404.h...
(Please note this is a "breaking story". . . in our neck of the woods, it's real heavy-hitting reporting.)
Y'all come back now, ya hear!
He was one of only 3 coaches from Don Nehlan's staff retained by Rich Rodriguez. With Rich Rod's "defection" to MI, Stewart held the staff and team together long enough to pull out one of the greatest wins in program history. Unfortunately, that's where things get emotional; i.e. WVU hired him. (Sadly, he's in tight with WVU's AD, Ed Pastilong, something I consider to be a bad thing.)
Now, he did manage to retain almost the entire recruiting class which Rich Rod tried to get. Despite having lost Aaron Pryor, it was still one of the best recruiting classes WVU had gotten in many years. I think Mullen will work out, in time, and I don't think Stewart did badly with the rest of his hires.
Finally, look at his 1st year. Yes, expectations were high; arguably the team under-achieved. Still, they won 8 games. That's not bad for a 1st year HC. You can't credit Pat White, either. He's not out there when the defense is on the field: a squad which returned all of 3 starters. Besides, he's as much to blame for the Pitt loss as he is for any given win. (Yes, he did run for a TD; he also threw a bone-head pick toward the end.)
Does WVU have enough coal to heat the world? In fact, they've got an estimated 200 years of reserves. Does WVU have enough oil to lubricate the world? That one's debatable, and I'd have to say likely not. Does WVU have enough brains to run the world? With all the chemical plants in Charleston, S. Charleston, Nitro, & Gallipolis Ferry, that too is arguable. So, while Coach Stew was not my 1st choice for WVU's HC, nor would he be my 1st choice for World Leader, this planet could arguably do a darn site worse.
In this case, however, I have to agree with most of you. Tis better to play the silent fool, than to open your mouth only to reveal the truth of it.
From the resulting wealth, JD became an instant millionaire and decided to move the entire family from the dismal foothills of Appalachia to the sunshine and abundance of the west coast. While there, JD continued to struggle as a fish out of water, but thrived none the less, living out his last days as a lobbyist for the Pac 10 to play better defense and get a conference championship game.
The End
I think we might have had the same creative writing professor.....
Come on, Porky! You don't know Jonathon the Zombie? He's a legend in internet pop culture annals...
And he was from West Virginia, not Tennessee, I don't care what wiki says. The song is very clear: Poor Mountaineer, not Poor Volunteer, although there might have been an alternative version recorded on the live album that says that if you played it backwards...
What do you get when you play a country song backwards? You get your house back, your wife back, your dog back, . . . .
;)
Jed " Boy is that your parachute" ? "No Uncle Jud Thats my lunch us astronats get purty hungry" say Jethro with a huge bottle rocket strapped to his back." Light me up"
BCS bowl game. Thanks Bill....happy recruiting after you get your butt handed to you by North
Carolina. Stewarts making about 1.5 million a year less than Rodriguez so I maybe it's a wash but in Stewarts case, WVU got what it paid for. My prediction for WVU next year is 4-8....it's back to being a basketball school again!!

the results. He was handed a Top 10
college football program and by week 3 of this season the team vanished from
the Top 25. They went on to lose the Big East when all they had to do was
beat Cincinnati, Pitt and South Florida and they couldn't even do that. Christ,
they barely held on to beat a lousy South Florida team. Now Butch Davis and
North Carolina
are going to teach Hillbilly Bill a thing or two about playing football.
The sad thing is this moron will get to keep his job. Tell me smart
ass....what qualifications did Bill Stewart have to become the head coach of a Top 10
team? Are you honestly going to tell me that Stewart is a better coach than
Rodriguez? Do you honestly believe that the state of WV has enough oil to
lubricate the world? I gave him too much credit for being Forrest
Gump....Stewarts more like the kid playing the banjo in the movie Deliverance.
Twenty years ago Bill Stewart coached VMI for one season to a losing record
and was fired because of an
incident involving a black player. Yeah...that definitely qualifies him to
be the head coach of a Top 10 team.
If you think anything different my man, then you're an even bigger imbecile
than Bill "Bread Head" Stewart!

And, just to reply to Coach Stewart, I have two things to say: First of all, did you ever wonder why water tastes a little bit different when you drink it through a straw? Secondly, you may have all of that stuff to rule the world, but we have something very similar to the mafia here in Indiana, it's called corn.
